Donald Swenson, PhD
Chief Scientist
Donald Swenson has devoted his career to the design and development of linear accelerators. He is the inventor of the RFD and RFI Linac. Active in the field for over 50 years and recognized as one of its top experts, he designed and built the first RFQ in the Western world. During his 20 years at Los Alamos National Laboratory, he sparked numerous innovations and developments enhancing nearly every form of RF driven linear accelerators. His creativeness has resulted in 14 patents for accelerator and beam diagnostic systems.
In addition to his 27 years at national laboratories, Dr. Swenson has also done commercial work for SAIC and has taught at Texas A&M as a professor of physics.
Barbara Swenson
President
Barbara is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and run multiple companies. She has served as President of Linac Systems since its founding, and oversees all business and project management duties.
Carl Willis
Nuclear Engineer
Carl oversees Lithium Target development for Linac Systems, and is one of the foremost experts on nuclear dynamics. Carl is completing his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering at The Ohio State University.
Cody Love
Mechanical Engineer
Cody is the head mechanical tech at Linac Systems, and its foremost vacuum systems expert: designing vacuum, fluid, and control systems for various company projects. He also has a vast working knowledge of all systems contained within an operational RFQ and RFI accelerator. Cody graduated from the University of New Mexico with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
Alan Constantineau
Electrical Technician
Alan is the head electrical tech at Linac Systems. He designs, assembles, and installs circuitry in the RF power systems and all other company projects. He also has extensive knowledge operating and troubleshooting the RF system components and oversees quality control. Alan has a double Associates Degree in Electronic and Manufacturing Technologies from Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute.
Bryan LeBlanc
Mechanical Engineer
Bryan is the head mechanical design engineer at Linac Systems. He translates concept to machine-ready drawings for all company projects. Bryan also works scheduling for various projects and is the Linac Systems’ Webmaster. Bryan graduated from Texas A&M University at College Station with a M.E. in Industrial Engineering and the University of New Mexico with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
Teresa Cohen
Accountant
Teresa works all accounting for Linac Systems. Meticulously sifting through numbers and statements, she ensures that all business finances are in order. Teresa is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of New Mexico.
